Several options of flexible student loan programs are available, with fixed and variable-rate options. We recommend that students apply with a credit qualified co-signer, when available, to improve chances of loan approval and the approved interest rate.
You can also choose the repayment option that works best for you. Choose to defer payments until after college, make interest-only payments during college or begin making regular payments immediately.
Before applying for a private student loan, we encourage you to first complete the FAFSA, or Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You should also work with your college financial aid office to explore and exhaust all sources of student financial aid before seeking a private student loan.
